Position Overview

The School of Health Sciences at Massey University has a teaching opportunity for an experienced health professional. This role will contribute to the delivery of distance education for our Medical Laboratory Science Specialisation in the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science Programme. If you have a passion for diagnostics and health education, we have professional clinician roles available across the specialties of Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology, Clinical Laboratory Hematology, Histology, and Transfusion Science.
 

This is a 1.0 FTE 11-monthfixed-term position, starting in January 2023and can be located on either our Manawatū (Palmerston North) or Pukeahu (Wellington) campus. Working from the Albany campus or off campus may be negotiated for the right candidate.
 

The position could be a part-time positionto cover one or more specialties or a full-time position to cover many specialty areas. Preference may be given to applicants who are registered Medical Laboratory Scientists and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.  Experience in two or more laboratory specialties at a senior level, would also be preferable.
