Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With

The role of Financial Services is to provide central procurement, accounting, business insight, advice, and processing of financial transactions. The unit provides a high-quality service while developing and maintaining excellent collaborative relationships with internal and external customers. The procurement team champions the quality of execution of the end-to-end procurement process - from identifying business need, through to contract management. Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

As a Procurement Specialist, you will develop close working relationships with your stakeholders, providing sound advice and guidance on procurement approaches, including management of the tender and negotiation process. In addition, you will guide and shape how the supplier is contract managed, ensuring that the supplier will deliver the expectations within the contract. Innovation and smarter ways of sourcing and contract managing the supplier is key!  Sound market and supply intelligence in the digital space would be an advantage.

 

Mōu | Who You Are

We are looking for someone who has experience in Digital Sourcing and Contract Management. Someone who has proven experience in management of new and on-going supplier relationships and the ability to analyse complex data and provide compelling arguments for change both internally and with suppliers would be a fantastic fit for this role. It is important that you bring thorough understanding of business needs and market conditions which could impact on contractual arrangements and a strong understanding of legal requirements and contractual obligations. If you have experience in improving business processes and streamlining procedures and a high level of planning and organising skills, this role will appeal to you.
