Primary Evaluative Lecturers - AUT School of Education (Hourly Paid Positions)

The School of Education/Te Kura Mātauranga in the Faculty of Culture and Society, AUT University, is a leading provider of education programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We are seeking applications for an Evaluative/visiting Lecturer to work in the Bachelor of Education (Primary) programme. This is a contract position to visit, support and evaluate student teachers on practicum placements. Applicants should state their experience mentoring as senior teachers and their knowledge of the appropriate sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Please note that current teacher registration and a full practising certificate with the Teaching Council of New Zealand is mandatory. The successful applicants must travel across Auckland to visit students at their practicum school.

The role would suit a recently retired middle or senior leader, teachers who are working part-time and teacher educators who have previous experience in Initial Teacher Education. We cannot accept applications from teachers working full-time in schools.
