Te āheinga: The opportunity

As a Practice Nurse, you will be a part of a high-quality health service team within the integrated Te Puna Waiora Health & Counselling Service to ensure Unitec students and staff are provided with cohesive, holistic, culturally appropriate, and accessible health services.

This is a part-time position of 15 hours per week.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You'll have:

  • An understanding or desire to learn Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
  • Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
  • To be successful in this role, you will be a registered nurse with an interest in sexual health, mental health, and supporting a wellness approach.
  • You will have experience demonstrating the ability to work with a wide range of people and groups from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds and a minimum of one-year general medical practice experience.
