Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a highly experienced and professional Postgraduate Coordinator with a passion for student success to join Te Kura Waihanga - Wellington School of Architecture administration team, based on the Te Aro campus, in a permanent, full-time role.

The Postgraduate Coordinator is a key contact for all postgraduate students within the School of Architecture, from their arrival on campus through to examination. This involves allocation of resources, organising critiques and reviews, as well as support for the associated committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administration support to school committees.
  • Coordinate postgraduate selection, critiques, reviews, and examinations.
  • Process PhD applications.
  • Assist with research funding applications and grant management.

This is an opportunity for someone with loads of initiative, a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.   • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people skills.
  • Ability to work to a very high standard of accuracy.
