Position Overview

The Riddet Institute is a world-best New Zealand Centre of Research Excellence in food and nutritional sciences, providing fundamental scientific understanding and training for a new generation of science leaders.  The Institute brings together scientists across disciplines and organisations, providing a “NZ Inc” approach to food science research, and it generates knowledge and capability that transforms the New Zealand food sector.

We are seeking a high-achieving Postdoctoral Scientist with a strong background in nutrition to undertake research in nutrients, their bioavailability and preclinical and clinical nutrition. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work co-operatively in teams.

The salary will depend on experience but will be in the range of Postdoctoral Fellow, with appointment for a fixed term of three years.
