The Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Department of Financial and Business Systems for a one-year fixed-term contract. The group is the focal point for teaching, supervision and research in Accounting and Finance disciplines.  The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to research in a number of areas, with emphasis on corporate social responsibility, sustainability practices and sustainability reporting, and accounting education. This may include changes and developments in sustainability reporting; examinations of aspects of sustainability reporting including readability; sustainability practices and value creation; and effectiveness of teaching approaches in accounting. Research projects will incorporate both qualitative and quantitative methods.
To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A PhD in a relevant field
  • A developing record of scholarly research and publication and/or creative work
  • Demonstrated evidence of ability to conduct qualitative research through interviews, focus groups, case studies, and/or questionnaires
  • Demonstrated evidence of good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with staff and students from a diverse range of backgrounds 

This is a one year fixed term contract.
