Highly motivated Platform Support Senior Consultant sought to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and administration, with expertise in VMware, storage and computer hardware, strong scripting and automation skills, Linux, Horizon and Active Directory GPO, as well as Azure. 

About the role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization environments using VMware technologies.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Configure and maintain Linux operating systems, servers, and applications.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Manage Azure cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues and implementation of new solutions.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to other team members as required.
  • Maintain a positive team environment with a sense of humour and a willingness to contribute to team success.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure platform design, implementation, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with storage and compute hardware, including SAN, NAS, and server hardware.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Python ansible or terraform.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems, servers, and applications.
  • Knowledge of Horizon and Active Directory GPO.
  • Knowledge of Kebernetes, Windows, Automation and / or infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of Server and storage hardware, backups, HA/DR/BC, Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Management (PKI), DNS or DHCP.
  • Experience with Tanzu or OpenShift Container Platform would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $99,000 - $118,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
