Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for an experienced Pasifika Administrator who will support the work of the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Pasifika) and the Pasifika Student Success team through the provision of high-quality administrative support.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will have a strong empathy for the Pasifika community and will build productive relationships with colleagues and Pasifika families and communities.

Key requirements for success:

  • Strong experience in an administrative role, preferably including support to a senior manager and for committees and project groups.
  • A highly organised self-starter who is comfortable working in a busy small team within a complex environment.
  • You take pride in providing a responsive service and enjoy developing and improving processes and systems.
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
