The AUT Faculty of Business, Economics and Law is seeking a Partnerships Manager to join their student, business and community partnerships team.   

As the Partnerships Manager, you will work with the Director to manage internal and external partnerships to enhance the student co-curricular experience through business and community engagement. The Partnerships Manager also leads alumni relations development for the Faculty, including creating initiatives and communications to strengthen the alumni connection.  Further, you will support the development and execution of key areas of the Faculty's strategic initiatives: diversity and inclusion, opportunities for Māori and Pacific, and employability for all.

The Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships, developing showcase events for AUT alumni and industry partners and identifying bespoke opportunities that benefit the Faculty and its stakeholders.

The Partnerships Manager role can be busy and challenging, working to important deadlines. With your proactive, professional and enthusiastic manner, you will independently manage a varied portfolio of work and priorities. As part of a dynamic team pursuing a growth strategy, you will constantly seek ways to enhance and facilitate meaningful connections.

In particular, the successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role demonstrating developing and managing a portfolio of key relationships
  • Experience in facilitating high profile events involving many stakeholders
  • Experience working within a tertiary environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with different stakeholders
  • A forward-thinking approach with a high level of attention to detail to prepare written reports and documentation
  • Passion, drive and resilience for creating and maintaining genuine and meaningful relationships that benefit the Faculty
