We require an Outlet Assistant for one of our busy retail outlets. This position will be ideal for a skilled and talented customer service superstar to make a start in a rewarding career within our organisation. You should be a self-starter and have the ability to think on your feet in this vibrant and busy retail outlet. You will already have good customer service skills and have immaculate presentation coupled with an outgoing personality.
 
You will thrive in our unique university environment where you can work at a fast pace whilst unsupervised and still maintain a strong customer focus. This role will suit someone that is self-motivated and has an easy going and friendly manner. Sound retail knowledge and experience together with a working knowledge of stock control and stock ordering will be an advantage to the right candidate. Some food safety understanding and familiarity would also be an advantage.

About Us/ Mō mātou

The University Union is a commercial university owned operation comprising of 22 business units in 16 locations around campus. It is part of the University’s Campus and Collegiate Life Services. The business units are divided into three major areas of operation, College Catering, Hospitality, and Food & Beverage.

This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) position on a rostered basis primarily Monday to Friday.

The salary range for this position is $24.68 to $25.18 per hour
