We require an Outlet Assistant Supervisor for one of our busy outlets. This position will suit an experienced hospitality professional with plenty of previous café experience. You will be a self-starter and have the ability to think on your feet as you stamp your own personality onto this vibrant outlet. 

You will pride yourself in your own outstanding customer service skills and you will be expected to help mould a young team to deliver excellent food and beverage service in a pleasant and welcoming environment.

You will thrive in an environment where you can work at a fast pace whilst unsupervised and still maintain a strong customer focus. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated and have an easy going and friendly manner. Barista knowledge and experience, as well as a sound food handling and preparation skills are key requirements for this role.

About Us/Mō mātou

The University Union is a commercial university owned operation comprising of 25 business units in 19 locations around campus. It is part of the University’s Campus and Collegiate Life Services. The business units are divided into three major areas of operation, College Catering, Retail and Food & Beverage.

This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) position on a rostered basis primarily Monday to Friday.
