As the Organisational Development Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward AUT's strategic goals by developing and implementing innovative organisational development initiatives.  

The primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Taking the lead on the development of practical and out-come focused OD programmes that cultivate leadership skills, embrace diversity, foster teamwork, and promote a culture of continuous learning. 
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to assess organisational needs and develop strategies to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and employee engagement. 
  • Providing expert guidance and support to departments and teams on issues related to organisational effectiveness, change management, and performance improvement. 
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and resource for faculty and staff, offering guidance on professional growth and career development opportunities. 

Requirements: 

  • A relevant tertiary level qualification. 
  • Proven experience in the creation and successful management of staff engagement surveys. 
  • Proven experience in organisational development, change management, and leadership development. 
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across departments and levels of an organisation. 
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
