AUT University's School of Clinical Sciences seeks a permanent full-time Lecturer/Satellite Coordinator (Midwifery).

We require an experienced midwife with a current annual practising certificate who is well-known in the midwifery sector in the Lakes rōhe. You will also need to have excellent administrative and people skills to provide leadership with stakeholders in relation to midwifery akonga learning and teaching and clinical placements. You will be expected to facilitate aspects of learning and teaching across the 4 years of the midwifery programme under the guidance of the Programme and course leaders. You will be based out of the Toi-Ohomai | Te Pūkenga Mokoia hub, Rotorua. You will be required to uphold relationships with mana whenua, and key midwifery stakeholders, establish and manage effective communication and develop a strategy for developing new clinical placements as well as reviewing current ones. You will also be expected to work closely with the Head of Department and Te ara ō Hine Tapu ora liaison team. Programme and Course leaders in BHSc (Midwifery) programme scheduling each student into a clinical timetable, facilitating tutorials and local simulation/skills sessions. An eye for detail is a must for this job as it involves meticulous attention to detail as well as dealing with multiple changing events and requests.

Salary range on offer: $78,000 - $92,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
