Medical Receptionist
Permanent, part time role working 15 hours per week supporting our students based at our Lincoln Campus Medical Centre.
Mō te tūka | The role
We are seeking applications for a friendly Medical Receptionist & Administrator to help provide quality service to a student client base, based at our Lincoln Campus.
This is a varied role, seated in our reception area.
Day to day tasks include:
- Day to day coordinator of the reception area - ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times.
- Managing appointments, answering phones, booking in patients appropriately.
- Processing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Managing electronic and paper files, including database administration.
- Maintaining office supplies.
- Provide clerical support as appropriate.
- Attend clinic meetings, complete minutes and distribute.
- Financial administration including invoicing, reconciliations, medical claims.
- Interacting with patients to ensure they have a positive outcome if presenting to Student Health.
This is a permanent, part-time role, working 15 hours per week on Monday & Tuesday from 8:30am - 4:30pm (0.4 FTE) based at our Lincoln Campus. The remuneration is set at $59,913 per annum, pro rata to 0.4 FTE (approx. $30.64/hr).
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Recent experience in customer service, reception, secretarial and administrative support.
- Flexibility to deal with varying work requirements.
- Experience in a Medical environment (preferred)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- MedTechFINAL or similar Patient Management System (PMS) experience (preferred)
- Minute taking experience
- Exceptional Customer Service & organisation skills
