Marketing Specialist
Leadership role coordinating publications, advertising campaigns and design projects + managing our in-house print service.
Mō te tūka | The role
The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the strategic marketing initiatives across our University.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to enhance the university's brand awareness, attract prospective students, engage current students and alumni, and promote various academic programs and events.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Campaign design & publications.
- Brand guideline management.
- Marketing content creation.
- Print management.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in brand, marketing or design preferred.
- Experience in managing and growing brands.
- A clear understanding of the various platforms and channels used to promote the brand.
- Experience with advertising both at a strategic and operational level.
- Understanding of and experience with design packages - InDesign, Publisher etc + print production and digital asset production
- Staff management - can provide clear direction and manage outputs.
- Project Management skills and use of project management software would be an advantage
