Management Accountant
Provide support for financial planning, management reporting & compliance plus professional advice on financial performance & risk + financial management.
Mō te tūka | The role
We are seeking applications for a Management Accountant to join our Financial Services team based at our Lincoln Campus.
You will be providing support for financial planning, management reporting, and compliance as well as providing advice on maximising the University's financial performance and risk through financial management.
The portfolio management of this role will include:
- Analysis, modelling and reporting
- Budgets and forecasts
- Profit and loss
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Capital Expenditure and Fixed Asset management
In addition to supporting Financial Planning and Analysis, the team is responsible for Corporate Accounting and Treasury functions, Finance Business Support and Advisory services and Procure to Pay.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. Remuneration for this position is set at $80,000+ per annum.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or relevant field essential
- Current or previous Tertiary sector experience will be highly regarded
- Possess advanced Excel & ERP experience.
- Be a competent user and quick learner of systems
- Strong experience in accounting processes, reporting and analysing financial information, providing accurate advice and delivering financial services.
