Te āheinga: The opportunity

As our Maintenance Officer you'll support the Facilities Maintenance team to carry out duties to buildings, fixtures, fittings and equipment.  You'll be involved in relocating furniture throughout the campus, assisting with general maintenance and setting up rooms and common spaces.

While this position is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, there will be some flexibility to the hours worked.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Sound understanding of maintenance and building maintenance requirements and familiar with the use of facilities management tools
  • Demonstrated level of maintenance skills, keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of building maintenance
  • Good communication and liaison skills
  • Relevant industry experience and basic site safe
  • Basic computer skills
  • Full Class 2 NZ Driver's License
