Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With

The University of Canterbury (UC) is situated on a beautiful campus located in Ilam. You will work in the supportive and well-organized Operations and Logistics team and be part of a critical service that keeps our thriving community working to support the success of staff and students.

 

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Your day will be varied and busy and typically you could be working in inwards goods and mail, assembling and delivering furniture, collecting rubbish or undertaking maintenance checks on equipment. As well as working in our Warehouse you will be traveling around the campus meeting staff and undertaking work orders. There will be plenty of opportunities to gain new experiences and even upskill.

 

Mōu | Who You Are

As you are the "Face" of the department you will enjoying meeting people and delivering a high level of customer service.  Being physically fit and enthusiastic, flexible and a team player are also important. Ideally, you will have previous warehouse/courier service experience and hold a clean and current NZ Driver's Licence (and the ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred), and a Fork Lift Licence (desirable). You will also understand the importance of and demonstrate good Health and Safety practices.
