Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will lead, manage and maintain user-focused library systems and digital services that facilitate anytime, anywhere access to library resources and services, and support learning, research, and teaching.
You will directly support students and staff by resolving technical difficulties when accessing online library resources that are critical for learning, teaching and research.
Mōu | Who You Are
You have significant experience in a library environment, specifically maintaining and supporting library management systems, digital repository systems, and other tools for managing access to library resources and services.
You have knowledge of current and emerging library technologies and digital services, and the way they are being used in teaching, learning and research.
You enjoy using your technical skills to analyse and solve problems and are motivated to continuously develop your knowledge to ensure continuous innovation.
You confidently work independently but equally enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment. You are highly motivated, enjoy a diverse workload, and have a real passion for helping others.
Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
The Library Systems team develop, manage and maintain user-focused library systems and digital services that provide access to library digital resources and support learning, teaching and research.
The team is part of the wider Library Access and Collections team which provides access to online and print library resources to support the strategic direction of Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha.
