Successful applicants will actively engage facilitating delivery of the education in the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes within in a Te Tiriti honouring framework.  In addition they will be invited to contribute to supervision of postgraduate students enrolled in the Masters and Doctoral programmes.  There is an expectation that appointees will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.

Applicants will hold a minimum of a Masters qualification in health or science and will have strong midwifery clinical background. The successful applicant will have a relevant teaching qualification, or be committed to completing a tertiary teaching certificate. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

This role is considered a children's worker role and will be subject to safety checking as part of the Children's Act 2014 . 

Salary Range: $85,000 - $137,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
