Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor within our Educational Leadership programme.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will bring professional and academic experience to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and postgraduate supervision. You will have the skills and experience to provide leadership and innovation in teaching.

Along with teaching, your well defined programme of research will help to advance research capacities, develop strategic cross and inter-disciplinary research initiatives, engage with the community. Those seeking an appointment at the Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor will have a record of academic leadership that includes mentorship, guidance, encouragement and support for other academic staff in the pursuit of their academic objectives and the development of their professional careers.

The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's relevant skills, knowledge and experience, the salary will be in the range of Lecturer from $83,337 to $99,551, Senior Lecturer from $102,280 to $134,175, or Associate Professor from $132,540 to $146,190 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD, or be in the final stages of completion if applying at Lecturer level. You will bring a passion for, and expertise in Educational Leadership.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of how your research could enhance professional practice and community. If seeking a senior appointment (SL or AP), you will be expected to have a research and scholarship record of excellence at a national and international level, along with demonstrated excellence in teaching and successful postgraduate supervision experience in the broad discipline of educational leadership.
