Lecturer - School of Education

The School of Education Te Kura Mātauranga in the Faculty of Culture and Society, Auckland University of Technology, is a leading provider of Initial Teacher Education programmes at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels, (BEd; PGDipTL and MTL) and general Educational Studies, ranging from BA(Ed) to EdD.

We are seeking a lecturer who can contribute to courses in these undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, offered at our Akoranga, City and Manukau campuses. Applicants should have relevant professional experience and current teacher registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council is preferred as the successful applicant will be expected to visit and assess student teachers on practicum.  

This is a Fixed Term Position for one year. Applicants will have a Doctoral degree (or be working towards one), will be research-active, and willing to make a contribution to the academic community of the School of Education.

Salary Range: Lecturer (Career Path): $82,000 - $99,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
