We are looking for an experienced health professional with a passion for out-of-hospital education and research, to fill a permanent lecturing position for our Perioperative Practice Programme.

The successful applicant will actively engage in facilitating the delivery of education in the undergraduate Perioperative practice (aka Anaesthetic Technology) programmes.  There is an expectation that the appointee will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University. While the position is full-time, part-time options may be considered.

The successful applicant should ideally hold a minimum of (or be interested in studying towards) a master's qualification in health or science and have current clinical experience in the Anaesthetic Technology/Perioperative hospital environment. The successful applicant will preferably have a relevant teaching history and qualification or be committed to completing a postgraduate education programme. They will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $101,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
