The Role

Applications are invited from outstanding PhD-qualified candidates for this confirmation path (tenure-track) position within our research-driven department.

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will contribute to the academic excellence and diversity of the Department through research and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We seek an appointee who:

• Will develop an independent research programme that complements existing research strengths in the department or brings a new area of research to the department within the discipline of Microbiology.

• Has demonstrated excellence in research, as indicated by publication in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

• Has the ability to attract grant funding.

• Is able to teach across a broad range of Microbiology topics.
