Part-time (0.8FTE), fixed-term (March-December 2024), AUT North Shore Campus

The School of Clinical Sciences is advertising for a part-time (0.8FTE), fixed-term Lecturer to assist trainees on the Allied Mental Health and Addictions New Entry to Specialist Practice (NESP) Programme to develop their clinical knowledge and skills for mental health practice. The position will principally involve working with the NESP Programme Co-ordinator to lead courses, support the development of teaching and learning resources, deliver content, and assess trainee work.  It will also involve mentoring Postgraduate students in the NESP Programme.

This position requires knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications in mental health social work or occupational therapy and registration as a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist in New Zealand. Furthermore, the position requires the ability to make decisions related to programme content coordinated by this position within the agreed framework determined by the Programme Co-ordinator and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements governing the activity.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $101,000 pro-rata (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
