Are you passionate about teaching the next generation of kaiwhakaora ngangahau? Then this is the role for you. The Department of Occupational Science and Therapy, with its vision of "whakahua are hei whakaora ngangahau kia Mauri ora" (creating pathways to give life to action for the purpose of flourishing), is seeking an individual with occupation/occupational therapy expertise to join our team. We are looking for a full-time permanent appointment at the lecturer level. You will make a significant contribution to the development of teaching/learning experiences, as well as to the research environment of the department and school. The successful applicant will actively engage in facilitating delivery of education in our undergraduate degree with room to expand into the post-graduate space as appropriate.

We will give preference to applicants who hold a doctoral qualification but are also open to applicants with a master's degree and relevant experience or expertise in teaching and practice.

To achieve great outcomes in this role, as well as your solid experience and registration as a kaiwhakaora ngangahau / occupational therapist, you will also bring:

  • Commitment to teach within your expertise, across a range of occupational therapy courses

AUT will require successful applicants to provide proof of full COVID vaccination prior to commencement of employment.

Salary Range: $82,000 - $99,000 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
