The School of Management, where the position will be located, is one of five units within the Massey Business School, along with the Schools of Accountancy, Economics & Finance, Aviation, and Communication, Journalism & Marketing. The School has a proud record of teaching and research excellence with a history of publications in top ranked journals and book publishers, external research funding, and PhD graduates appointed to positions at well-regarded Universities.
We are currently seeking an exceptional individual in Palmerston North to take up the role of Lecturer Management and SustainableBusiness. In this appointment, you will be expected to contribute to learning, teaching and supervision, research and enterprise, as well as academic citizenship activities in the School. You will have a strong background in Management and Sustainable Business along with a flexible and innovative approach to learning and teaching, a proven ability to develop and teach the major curriculum, and a demonstrated research expertise and track record of research outputs. Experience and/or commitment to engaging with the business community to create research and learning opportunities is desirable, as is a proven ability to secure external research funds and/or engage effectively with business audiences. The salary band for this position is $81,172.00 to $103,595.00 based on skills and experience.
