The Wellington School of Architecture is currently recruiting a permanent Lecturer in Oceania Design. The role is offered as full time but we are also happy to consider fractional appointments. This role has been created to support teaching at the school and would also contribute to an ongoing broad scope research project investigating adaptation to climate change in urban Oceania.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be a motivated, research-driven individual with either a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field. If you have no PhD but other extensive experience in addition to a Master’s degree, such as practice work, teaching or social and cultural engagement then we would be able to support you in obtaining a PhD. You will have good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Involvement with Pasifika stakeholders and Pasifika communities is of particular interest in this respect.
