About the role

In this role, you will support the second phase of AUT's Canvas Implementation Project and specifically support the development of courses. You will cover a broad range of educational practice including innovative pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment, digital learning and scholarship/pedagogical research. You will help design, develop and deliver exceptional learning experiences. The nature of the work is highly collaborative - building relationships with academic practitioners, learning technologists, professional staff and students will be critical.

We have one permanent position and two fixed term positions until December.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience co-designing new courses
  • Experience creating, and working within, systematic learning design processes at scale 
  • An ability to connect theory and practice in a range of learning design situations and tasks
  • A proven track record of working with academics/specialists to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to align learning design to institutional strategic goals and priorities
  • Experience of managing multiple projects and associated milestones
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti partnership
  • Educational qualifications in learning and teaching will be highly regarded.

Salary Range: $81,984 - $100,387 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
