Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
Te Ratonga Whaikaha | Student Accessibility Service provides support, assistance and advice to students who have a learning impairment, disability, or long-term medical condition.
We are passionate and innovative in our approach to assist students with accessibility issues by providing appropriate support services with specialist and practical resources that enhance the student experience and optimise success.

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will lead and support the students with learning accessibility issues, by providing appropriate academic support to assist them achieve and succeed in their University study.
In this role you will develop and lead student engagement in co-curriculum activities that enhance the student experience to optimise their personal, social, and academic success.
Co-ordinate support services, resources, and advocacy services for existing and potential students with learning accessibility issues to enable them to participate fully in UC student life and achieve their goals.

Mōu | Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of the academic, social, and cultural needs of students with learning accessibility issues. You have a Tertiary Qualification and understand the challenges that our students face.
You have excellent listening and relationship building skills that allow you to co-create plans with students. You are positive and encouraging, and you can work constructively within our team to create solutions to complex issues.
