Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and confident administrator or graduate to join our team. As Kairuruku Taritari | Recruitment Coordinator you will provide excellent candidate care and manager support through high quality end-to-end recruitment and selection processes. With a specific portfolio of roles, you will create advertising strategies, manage applications and coordinate shortlisting and interview processes, with the goal of supporting hiring managers to make the best appointment decisions. You will provide support to the Recruitment Advisors and will also have the opportunity to work with the team on impactful recruitment projects, as required.

This role is integral in bringing the University's Ngā Uara | Values , brand and workplace culture to life through it's first point of contact with candidates, and in contributing to attracting outstanding talent to UC.

 

Mōu | Who You Are
You will be customer focused ideally with experience in a human resource administration or recruitment role, and have:

  • a positive can-do attitude, with energy, drive and high levels of initiative and self-motivation
  • administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • exceptional communication and time management skills
  • competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, databases, the internet and document filing systems
  • attention to detail, together with the ability to maintain standards under pressure
  • experience in all aspects of customer service, particularly in dealing with a diverse range of people and ability to use discretion when handling confidential information
  • proven experience and commitment to enhancing cultural awareness and competence.
