Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As a Kaihāpai Oranga | Health and Wellbeing Promoter (Comms and Events) you will work to support the wellbeing of the student community by delivering targeted messages, events and projects.
Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the health services/Health promotion sector, or other relevant field along with
- skilled knowledge of health promotion theory and practice.
- proven experience in networking effectively and consulting with a variety of people, services and organisations
- excellent knowledge of and relationships with community mental health services and health promotion agencies, national and international health promoting services.
- understanding of Māori models of health, including Te Whare Tapa Whā and Te Pae Māhutonga
- demonstrated capability in planning, coordination, project management, programme development, administration, and computer literacy.
- knowledge of the University environment and the key wellbeing issues that tertiary students experience.
