International Recruitment Officer
Implement and manage student recruitment, conversion and retention activities with the goal of meeting international student targets for the University.
Mō te tūka | The role
Seeking applications for a motivated recruiter to be part of our International Office.
You will be responsible for implementing and managing student recruitment, conversion and retention activities to meet international student targets for the University.
You will utilise a variety of communication channels such as face-to-face meetings, phone follow ups, and digital marketing to reach out to potential students.
Key tasks of the role include:
- Student recruitment
- Enquiries and lead management
- Marketing and promotion
- Student retention
- Relationship management
The position requires domestic and international travel, as well as a requirement to work outside of normal business hours.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. Remuneration for this role is set at Grade 5: $67,271 - $82,562
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business management, international relations, or marketing (preferred)
- At least two years of sales or marketing work experience
- Experience in contributing to planning, and delivering, successful marketing and sales strategies.
- Knowledge and experience of international markets, including the international education industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of the tertiary education environment
- Have strong cross cultural communication skills and able to work with diverse cultures.
- Demonstrate a high level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work under pressure, maintain effectiveness when faced with demands of variable workloads or tight deadlines
- Full, clean, New Zealand Driver's Licence
