Inclusive Education Administrator
Provide administrative support to the Inclusive Education team, who assist students with a disability, illness or injury.
Mō te tūka | The role
Seeking applications for an empathetic administrator to provide administrative to support to students with disability, illness or injury.
You will be based in a small team within the Centre for Learning and Teaching situated in our Learning, Teaching & Library facilities, coordinating and supporting a wide demographic of students studying at our Campus.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordination of student support
- Assist with assessment of needs, support arrangements
- Facilitate training activities
- Assist with supervision of casual support staff
This is a permanent role working 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) based at our Lincoln Campus.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- Relevant and previous administrative experience
- Experience in working with people with disabilities, injury or illness
- The ability to exercise discretion in allowing people with a disability to be the expert on their condition, creating an environment where the barriers to inclusion are removed
- The ability to interact well with a variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures
- A high standard of oral and written communication
