Position Overview

The People and Culture team at Massey University supports the University’s goal of enabling excellence, by providing Massey people and our people leaders with practical and easily accessible human resource tools and support.

We have a one-year fixed-term opportunity for a service-orientated administrator to join the Human Resources Administration Team.  This fixed-term opportunity will provide additional coverage and support to the HR Administration team, in the HR Administrator role whilst our new HRIS is implemented and embedded.

The primary focus of this role is to provide support to various university client groups.  This will include preparation of employment contracts, variations, secondments, and other general HR administrative tasks.  Client contact is predominantly via email and phone; therefore, exceptional communication skills and Microsoft word skills, will enable your achievement in this face paced environment.

  • A strong focus on client service with an ability to develop positive relationships.
  • A tertiary qualification is a requirement for this role.  Comprehensive training will be provided, however any previous HRIS, employment agreement, payroll or generalist HR experience will be an advantage in applying.
