Hourly-paid position - South Campus

The School of Clinical Sciences is looking for three hourly-paid technicians to contribute to the effective technical and administrative support to the School staff. These positions are based on AUT South Campus and will support our Midwifery, Nursing, Paramedicine and Perioperative Practice Departments.

As a Technician you will:

• provide a wide range of technical services in support of the School of Clinical Sciences.
• contribute to the function of a high performing team

To succeed in this role, you need to demonstrate:

• Able to pick up early (6am start), late (1pm start) and/or weekend shifts
• Be physically fit to be able to lift heavy equipment
• Good at following instructions and reliable
• Ability to exercise sound judgement in problem solving and negotiating with all stakeholders
• Capacity to assess priorities and manage a range of tasks and complex issues simultaneously
• Be emotionally resilient, quick on the uptake, and calm under pressure
• Medical knowledge, experience desirable but not a must

Salary range: $27.99 to $36.88 per hour based on experience and availability
