NMIT is seeking a versatile, experienced administrator, to support our health, safety and wellbeing team.  Working within a focused, motivated and strong team environment, you will be an amazing communicator, reliable and have the ability to work flexibly with shifting priorities. If you are well organised, great with technology and looking for a job with heaps of variety this job is for you. 

The key responsibilities for the role are:

  • Provide general administrative support for the health, safety and wellbeing team, including
  • Input, maintenance and reporting preparation with regard to team databases, registers, records and systems, and
  • Provide Health and Safety Committee administrative support,
  • Provide quality customer service and outcomes.

About you / He kōrero mōu

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • 3-5 years administration experience
  • Confident interpersonal and strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to organise, multi task, prioritise and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently in a self-managing team environment.
  • Proficient computer use including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and software systems including understanding of databases.
  • Some knowledge of Wellbeing, Health and Workplace safety will be an advantage but not essential.
