Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will provide administrative support for Doctoral, Masters and higher Doctorate candidates university-wide; support their research supervisors; and to assist the Dean of Postgraduate Research, Associate Dean(s) of Postgraduate Research, and Postgraduate Research Manager in the implementation of the university's strategic plan.
Utilising your strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure you will be responsible for providing advice and administrative support to Doctoral students, whilst supporting the master's thesis examination process.
Mōu | Who You Are
You have significant administration experience and an understanding of the tertiary education sector. You have experience interpreting and applying regulations and policies, an awareness of Privacy and Official Information Acts. If you have experience with UCSMS would be an advantage.
You can cope with competing demands in an organised manner. You have a strong attention to detail as well as strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
As you will be dealing with a variety of people, it's important that you can effectively and clearly communicate with others.
