Position Overview

Tussock Café is a contemporary café based in the heart of the Massey University Wellington Campus.  The Tussock Team caters for staff and students but is also the catering hub for all external events including conferences and special occasion celebrations that feed into the Dominion Museum Building.

We are seeking a

to provide support to the Manager of Commercial Services in the day-to-day operations of our Hospitality Business and lead the front-of-house team. Our vibrancy and point of difference are our range of venues for hire that can host everything from Exhibitions to Gala Dinners, and we have strong foundations in place to support learning and professional development.

Do you have the following experience?

• A minimum of three years experience in a Café or Food & Beverage Management role 
• High personal and professional work standards.
• Demonstrated results and quality in your work.
• Demonstrated organisation and communication skills.
• Experience hosting events, weddings, and other large function

The position is permanent full-time, with remuneration at $28-30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
