AUT Sport and Fitness Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dedicated Fitness Instructor at our North Campus Gym, with the opportunity to work in our City and South Campus Gyms as well.

This is a diverse role which involves working with students and staff of the University and other community clients. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience with excellent communication skills and the ambition to develop further within the role. The applicant must be professional and highly competent in fitness instruction or personal training. Experience or interest in promotions would be an advantage.

This role is permanent part-time (20 hours per week) working 5 x closing shifts 5pm - 9pm during the weekdays. There is the possibility to be flexible with these days/hours so please note this in the cover letter if relevant. You may also be required to work extra hours around these shifts, help with our events and teach Group Exercise classes. There will also be the opportunity to take up Personal Training. The candidate must be able to be REPs registered and will ideally hold a current First Aid certificate.

Salary Range: $46,818- $50,188 pro rated (Dependant on Qualifications and Experience)

Please note: the salary range listed is for full-time hours (37.5) and the salary will be pro-rated for 20 hours.
