Financial Business Performance Manager - Manaaki Whenua

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a high performer to lead the organisation's Financial Business Performance team.

About the opportunity

Supporting and reporting to the GM Corporate Services, this position is responsible for providing organisational leadership to optimise business performance and contribute to the company strategy and business model.  

The Financial Business Performance Leader provides leadership to the business performance functions, monitors the financial performance of the core science business units and manages the business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the core science business units

The role also provides support to the GM Corporate Services with special projects as necessary.

The position is permanent, full time, and is based at our Lincoln site.

About you

To be the successful candidate you will

• be a chartered accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role
• demonstrate proven relationship management strengths with strong skills in influencing and driving collaboration
• have the ability to understand value drivers and provide commercial insights to support the senior leadership team in driving financial performance
• demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at senior levels of the organisation
