Financial Accountant (Fixed Assets) - Manaaki Whenua

Responsible for Fixed Assets this role will focus on the identification, recording valuation, accounting, reporting and timely capitalisation of capital projects, as well as monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes support to the business.

About the opportunity

Supporting and reporting to the Finance Manager, this position is responsible for the financial management of the fixed assets and capital expenditure aspects of our business.  

The Financial Accountant will measure, monitor and report on fixed assets and capital expenditure as well as assist the wider business to develop their understanding of these processes.

The position is permanent, full time, and is based at our Lincoln site.

About you

To be the successful candidate you will

  • be a chartered accountant with experience in fixed assets and capital project accounting
  • have experience in interpreting financial data and adapting for discussion with non-financial staff
  • demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organisation
