Mātauranga Māori Advisor - Economics
The Open Polytechnic is undertaking a development of our economics course as part of the development of a new Bachelor of Accounting Degree and we are looking for a Mātauranga Māori Advisor with specific knowledge of Māori trade and Māori economies.
Mātauranga Māori Advisor
We need skilled and experienced people with a Māori cultural background who have employment, training or education experience in economics and Māori trade to come on board and create some course materials in relation to Māori trade theory, Māori ownership and trade agreements and Māori trade history.
The time commitment for Mātauranga Māori Advisor roles is expected to be around 10- 20 work in total will involve meeting with our team and providing content and recommended resources for our course in these specialised areas. The work is expected to kick off somewhat immediately and will go through to the early new year.
Particular areas of expertise required:
- Mātauranga Māori Advisor: Extensive knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a Te Ao Māori perspective in economics, specifically Māori trade.
