Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join out clinical team on a permanent basis.
This is a clinical role working with our awesome team of Nurses, General Practitioners and Support staff to contribute to the delivery of effective quality primary care to Victoria University of Wellington students in a challenging and yet very rewarding environment. You will also work closely with Student Counselling, the Health Improvement Practitioners, the Health Coach and other Student Support teams.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
Ideally you will have the following:
- Broad experience in a primary health care setting.
- Experience in wound care.
- Empathy and interest in working with a diverse student population.
- Familiarity and competence using Primary Care Medical Records Software.
- Current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ.
- Experience and interest in working in Māori and Pasifika health would be an advantage.
- Experience in recall and screening programmes would be an advantage.

This role requires safety checking through the police vetting system under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
