Early Childhood Evaluative Lecturer Positions - Initial Teacher Education

The School of Education/Te Kura Mātauranga in the Faculty of Culture and Society, AUT University, is a leading provider of education programmes at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

We are seeking applications for an Evaluative/visiting Lecturer to work in the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) programme and the Master of Teaching & Learning (Early Childhood Education). This is a contract position to visit and evaluate student teachers on practicum placements. Applicants should state their experience in mentoring as senior teachers and knowledge of the appropriate sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Please note that full teacher registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand is mandatory. The successful applicants will be required to travel across Auckland to visit students at their practicum centre.

The role would suit a recently retired middle or senior leader. We are unable to accept applications from teachers who are working full-time in schools or centres.
