The School of Clinical Sciences has two permanent part-time (0.8/0.6FTE) positions available for Clinical Educators in Nursing. These positions are annualised.
We require nurse educators to fulfil clinical positions. The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes. To be considered for the position, applicants must have a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing. There is an expectation that the appointees will contribute to the development of clinical learning within nursing at AUT.
Applicants will have a current practising certificate and recent clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.
The positions will work alongside students, including Māori and Pacific students, so a high level of cultural sensitivity is desired, along with knowledge of kawa and Tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge).

AUT will require successful applicants to provide proof of full COVID vaccination prior to commencement of employment.
Annual Salary Range: $69,000 - $91,000 - will be pro-rated (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
