  • Based at Mokoia Campus. Mokoia or Windermere Campus, Tauranga
  • Diverse role supporting the organisation of student nurse clinical placements

The Clinical Coordinator is a member of the Nursing Team which is part of the Faculty of Health, Education and Environment directorate. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting the provision of effective and efficient Clinical Coordination for all nursing programmes and support quality Clinical opportunities for students within Nursing. 

The Clinical Coordinator will:

  • Provide active support, assistance and a positive contribution to stakeholders, students, and the wider teaching team
  • Maintain databases for all components of clinical placements and be the first point of contact for student placement enquiries
  • Ensure that the work environment reflects a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and Health and Safety

About you / He kōrero mōu 

As the ideal applicant you will have proven capability and experience in the following:

  • Experience (at least 3 years) in the education and or health Industry
  • Previous experience in a customer service role and have strong communication skills
  • Be IT literate and proficient within common databases e.g., Excel, Word, Google Drive
  • Highly organised and efficient administration skills 
  • Problem solving
