Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Client Service Advisor to provide day-to-day office support for the management team, and front office support for students and other customers in a way that supports a proactive, efficient, personalised customer-centric experience.

You will be the front-line contact for calls and enquiries regarding student accommodation, communicating with internal staff as well as external stakeholders. There will also be the opportunity to assist other teams and projects, enhancing your career development and industry knowledge.

Excellent communication, problem-solving and database skills coupled with a genuine customer-focused approach, will be essential to success in this role. Demonstrated experience as both a team player and a self-starter would be a definite advantage.

You will also bring relevant experience in large and complex organizations, and be able to champion Victoria’s values as you engage with and support a wide range of people on a day to day basis. You will be adept at assessing situations quickly and get a sense of achievement when you help others. You will have examples where you have been the eyes and ears of an organization making a tangible difference to service, safety and reputation. Reporting to the Business Manager you will focus on a customer-service experience that has us respected and valued.

Your ability to relate well to diverse groups of people and meet high standards personally, professionally and cost-effectively will have you stand out.
