Mō te tūnga | About the role

Our Lower Hutt campus has an on site staff cafe, providing everything from amazing coffee, the best cinnamon scrolls, catering for meetings, and a daily hot lunch menu. We need another experienced person to join the team - you'll need to have FOH experience and ideally kitchen management - as well as being able to make an amazing coffee!

You're great with people and have excellent customer service and want to be part of an organisation that cares about its people.  Our onsite café is small, but busy.  This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm - enjoy your weekends and public holidays!

The role will include all tasks typical of a café and retail environment including customer service; cash handling and Eftpos transactions.  

Skills & Experience

  • Barista trained
  • Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent customer service
  • Cash handling and Eftpos transactions
